Parish Renewal Prayer

Jesus, wellspring of love and mercy,
we come before you on behalf of our parish,
asking that you inflame within us the fire of your Holy Spirit
and generously endow us with His sancifying gifts.

Deliver our community from the power of Satan
and the influence of evil,
grant us the grace of continuing conversion,
and sanctify our clergy with your most precious and life-giving blood.

Through the intercession of Our Lady of Ransom,
may we be given the freedom to live as your missionary disciples,
boldly proclaiming the liberating power of your Gospel to all those we encounter.

May the blood and water which poured forth from your pierced heart
bring us cleansing and renewal,
so that we may be fruitful disciples,
living in the grace and power of our baptism.

Jesus you are the source of all love.
We pray for our church and ask you
to give us the Holy Spirit
so that we may become great disciples.

Keep us safe from evil,
help us to be sorry for our sins,
and make our priests good and holy.

We also ask for Mary to pray for us
and help us to follow you
and share your love with everyone we meet.

By your death on the cross,
give us the strength to love you and love our neighbor
and, in that way, say yes to the gift of our baptism.
