I have had the blessings of many wonderful musical experiences in my life as a pianist, singer and church musician. I earned my B.M. and M.M. in Piano Performance from DePaul University. I have served as Director of Music at number of parishes in the Chicago area: at St. Timothy Parish in Rogers Park from 1988 to 2005, at St. Thomas Beckett in Mt. Prospect from 2011-2012, and at St. Tarcissus from 2012-2018.
I have sung professionally with the Chicago Symphony Chorus, Bella Voce, the William Ferris Chorale, and the choirs of St. John Cantius and St. Peters in the Loop.
As a pianist, I have served a piano instructor and choral accompanist at St. Xavier University, and as an orchestral keyboardist for the Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra and the Civic Orchestra of Chicago.
I am a member of the American Choral Directors Association, the American Guild of Musical Artists, Chorus America and the National Association of Pastoral Musicians.
In addition to my music degrees, I hold an M.S. in Information Technology from Northwestern University and have worked in the Information Technology field for the last 25 years. My wife Judy and I live in Park Ridge. We enjoy travel, cooking, and theatre and spending time with family and friends. I very much look forward to serving the parish of Our Lady of Ransom.
